Once upon a time, on a cold windy night, there was
a little bird snuggled in his nest
high in the branches of a tall tree.
Suddenly a big wind came up and
blew the nest out of the tree
knocking the little bird to the ground
injuring his wing.
He lay there calling for help,
cold and hurting.
A nearby cow heard his call and
came to his rescue.
The cow plopped a big dump on top of the bird
surrounding him with warmth.
The bird was offended, and told the cow off,
then wriggled his way out of the dung.
He started flopping around calling for help again
catching the attention of
a passing wolf on the hunt.
The wolf quickly gobbled the little bird up.
Moral? Sometimes you have to sit in crap to keep the wolves away.
The end.

Love the story. :)
Colleen just told me about this story from your blog! thats a good one!
I love your family pictures and its been so long but can I just say Colleen looks just like you!! I think Mark even called her Jaci a few times.
Anyway I love that I can go back and see what you are doing, I will warn you that I am the worst blogger lately. I am in a rut with my blog and blogging is the last thing I seem to think about anyway. I will try to do better.
And no worries "aunt " Jaci, I won't be making you feel old. I just held Shae over Christmas and technically she is my cousin, but seems more like a niece. Very few grandkids know me anyway, so to them I am Aunt Jen. :)
Your kids are beautiful and i hope Vegas is treating you well. Texas has similar weather and so coming home from Utah to 70 degrees is NICE!
Love you!
Jen
