Girls and Curls
Avery stayed home from church on Sunday because she was showing some signs of an impending sickness, meaning she was in the contagious stage. It turned out to be a false alarm but we had fun anyway. What do you expect two girls to do for three hours together???

A Trip to the Springs Preserve
We took a trip with Avery's pre-school group to the Springs Preserve -- so much fun. That place was so cool, I want to drop the kids off with a sitter and just go with Danny for a date. There was way too much to take in for the attention span of my toddlers. It's a well-spring of history and economics. Their favorite was the simulated Flash Flood, where we all gathered in a little room with rocky walls, and watched a short clip about thunderstorms in the desert when suddenly there was a flash flood warning on the video; you guessed it, next thing you know there's water pouring down the rocks on the walls and rushing under the platform we were all standing on, splashing us as it went by. Way cool.

Air Show at Nellis
The air show was a blast... a little crazy this time because Danny got called into work - lame. So I was flyin' solo with my three little ducklings. You should have seen the glances I got pushing two kids around in a double jogger while carrying an infant on my chest in a sling. The jogger wouldn't fit through security, they had to move the table that was to the side of the walk through security gates for us to go around, and then scan us with one of those wands. NICE! The kids spent almost the whole time with their ears covered, but it was an improvement from last year: no tears, and they stayed awake the whole time. They also rode a ferris wheel for the first time! As you can see, they thought it was exciting... riiiiiigggghhht.

Trip to the Fire Station
Newsflash: Blogging causes rapid aging!
Oh my gosh, what a time trap blogging is! Seriously, I log on to do a quick update and three hours later, after reading every blog produced by anyone I might possibly have association with, I can go to bed (at 2am). I will get my fill of blogging for the next week and then not touch it again for another three months! I can't afford the time! But for now, here's some 'copy and paste' fun I've run into from others'.
5 things I need to do this week:
1. Clean my toilets.
2. Run 20 miles.
3. Acquire a blessing outfit for Gage.
4. Trunk or Treat!!
5. Do something, anything, other than read blogs.
5 snacks I enjoy eating:
1. Crackers, cheese and meat, Lunchable style
2. Yogurt pretzels
3. Chocolate milk
4. Costco grapes
5. Homemade bread
5 things I'd do if I became a billionaire:
1. PAY OFF DEBT!!!
2. Build a get-away home somewhere mountainous, and discreet
3. Invest
4. Buy Danny an airplane
5. Go to school endlessly
5 places I've lived:
1. Good ol' P-town (Provo, for the non-Utah folk)
2. Pleasant Grove, UT
3. Boise/Meridian, Idaho
4. Las Vegas
5. Wow, I'm exciting.
5 jobs I've ever had:
1. Davis Electric
2. Home Base
3. Sears Telemarketing... I think that lasted 3 weeks.
4. OB/GYN office
5. Gate Gourmet
5 people I miss the most:
1. Dad and Mom
2. Ron and Pat
3. Alyshia
4. Kristina... I'd give anything to hold those babies right now!
5. Leslie

1. Bumper
2. Jax
3. Jackers Crackers
4. Davis

2. Heather, the most entertaining person I know
3. Valerie, my trainer, mentor, coach
4. Jamie... if I could be like anyone.
5. Danny, Avery, Stet, and Gage... the reason I have weeks to live. that sounded like i'm dying. i'm not.
5 things you may not know about me:
1. It drives me CRAZY when cupboards are left open in my kitchen.
2. I have a birthmark on my inner right thigh.
3. I was named after my paternal grandmother, and my dad is my best friend.
4. I'm afraid of wind (only at night) because once, while camping, my tent almost got blown off a cliff while I was sleeping inside.
5. I also have a fear of being stuck in traffic under an overpass. I'll wait on one side until I can clear the whole bridge before moving forward.
5 favorite musicians or Bands
I grew up with nothing but country, and I don't listen to much now, so it would be embarrassing for me to try to list the latest and hottest bands... I'm so out of it.
But here's who I listen to occasionally:
1. Allison Krauss
2. Faith Hill
3. Toto
4. Phil Collins, I know I'm a nerd
5. Josh Groban
5 things I was doing 10 years ago (this should be entertaining)
1. Driving my dad's '77 GMC up to Squaw Peak, I won't say who with. Okay, by myself.
2. Rockin' the volleyball courts
3. Whipits... ha ha
4. Crushin' on like 7 missionaries
5. Pizza Pipeline, Dr. Pepper, slurpies, and sixlets.
5 bad habits
1. I'm way too sarcastic with my man; he can take a joke, but he's the last one I should be sassy with.
2. Late night snacking. It hits at like 11, but a friend recently told me that cravings only last 15 minutes... empowering info.
3. I'm the queen of foot-in-mouth comments. Even when I send emails I have to edit them at least 3 times before I can send them to delete all the presumptuos comments. If only I could edit real life.
4. I'm super cheap! I always consider how much a simple indulgence will cost and is it worth that. I really need to loosen up and go out for ice cream more often.
5. I'm pretty darn stubborn. I'll fight to the finish for the lamest things... ask Dan.
